The level of confidence the academy has given me is immense. I met a guy on the plane that is 68 and is worried about taxes. He gave me the canned response of "I got a guy". What is Included on my ticket?
Your ticket includes 2 days of in-person training. It does not include hotel accommodations or full meals — light refreshments may be provided, but attendees should plan their own lodging and meals during the event.
Are hotel accommodations or flights included with my ticket?
Unfortunately, hotel accommodations and flights are not included with your ticket. Attendees are responsible for arranging their own travel and lodging for the event.
Where exactly is the event located?
The training will be held in San Jose, CA. The exact venue address will be sent directly to registered attendees 48 hours after registration. If flying in, you can fly into San Jose, CA (SJC).
Will meals or snacks be provided during the day?
Full meals are not included; however, snacks, filtered water, and coffee will be provided throughout the day.
What's the cancellation/refund policy if I can't attend?
All sales are final. No refunds will be issued for any reason.
What should I bring with you (laptop, notebook, etc.)?
Please bring your laptop, notebook, and chargers for your electronic devices. This training includes a lot of hands-on work using your laptop, so make sure it's fully charged and ready to go each day.
Is this training recorded if I can't attend live?
No. This is a 100% in-person training, and no recording of any kind — audio, video, or photo — is permitted. Attendees found recording any part of the training will be dismissed and removed from the Academy immediately.
Do I need to be licensed before attending?
Yes. This is a licensed professional training, so you must have your life insurance license before attending.
What is CFT Academy?
CFT Academy is an advanced training program designed to help licensed agents master the art of closing, overcome objections, increase sales production, and develop the skills to train, duplicate, and lead successful teams.
What is Ambassador Academy?
Ambassador Academy is a foundational training program designed for newly licensed agents to master the 7 Fundamentals of the Business, build confidence in client appointments, develop essential sales skills, and establish a strong foundation for long-term success.
How long does the training take?
CFT OR Ambassador Academy are an intensive 2-day, in-person training program.
Days 1 & 2: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM PST
Full attendance is mandatory. Attendance is verified daily, and early departures will result in ineligibility for graduation.
Will I get support after the training?
Yes. The Academy is designed to help you continue implementing what you learned through your GFI Alliance leadership, systems, and ongoing development.
Is there parking available at the venue?
Yes, free parking is available on-site for all attendees.
What happens if I miss a day — can I still graduate?
No. Attendance all 2 days is required to graduate from Academy. Missing any portion of the training will prevent graduation.
What's the dress code?
Business casual. It's a relaxed environment — no suits required, and ladies, no heels needed.
